Albany shots fired; Illegal handguns recovered
Albany Police Officers were called to the area of Madison Avenue and Trinity Place for a shots fired call shortly after midnight, Sunday morning.
Police say they received tips regarding the vehicle involved and found a vehicle matching that description parked in the area of Grand Street and Madison Ave. Officers say they tried to talk to the two men in the car and when they approached the vehicle, the men fled on foot.
After a short chase the police were able to arrest 31-year-old Shakeeo Miller and 32-year-old Donald Perry.
Miller was found with a loaded .357 Magnum revolver. He is charged with Criminal Possession of Weapon in the second, Criminal Possession of a weapon in the third and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth.
Perry was found with a loaded .32 caliber revolver and is being charged with Criminal Possession of Weapon in the second and Criminal Possession of a weapon in the third.
Both men are scheduled to be arraigned Sunday, in Albany City Court.
