ALBANY – Construction of the Albany Skyway is complete, and is now open.

Gov. Kathy Hochul was on hand for the grand opening.

The skyway is on the old 787 northbound ramp from Quay Street to Clinton Avenue. It gives pedestrians and cyclists another way to reach the Corning Riverfront Park and the Mohawk Hudson Bike Trail.

Construction began last spring.
