A traffic stop led to two drug and weapons arrests in Albany this week. Police say they stopped the car on Central Avenue between Lexington and Robin Street, Thursday morning.

The driver, Jamal Mayo of Albany, is accused of having crack cocaine and packaged fentanyl, along with a loaded .40 caliber handgun.
A passenger, Daunte Ethridge of Durham, North Carolina, was also taken into custody.

Police say the investigation led them to search a room at the Ramada Inn on Watervliet Avenue Extension, where they found more drugs and two more loaded handguns.
