Albany traffic stop leads to weapons possession charges

An Albany man was being arraigned Friday for several charges, including criminal possession of a weapon.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Saviour Wilkerson was pulled over Thursday in Albany for vehicle and traffic violations.
Deputies say he had a 9mm black handgun with 13 rounds of ammunition loaded inside of it.
He’s also facing two vehicle and traffic law infractions.
