New York Attorney General Tish James has won a lawsuit against former Bumpy’s Polar Freeze owner David Elmendorf.

The judge says Elmendorf threatened supporters of Black Lives Matter who gathered outside his business last summer to protest his hiring practices.

He then called police and falsely claimed the protesters were armed with weapons.

Elmendorf now has to pay $500 to each of the nine victims he harassed and threatened.
