Averill Park student arrested for alleged threat

An Averill Park High School student is under arrest for allegedly making a threat against the school community.
The district’s superintendent says they were made aware of a threat on Monday.
They immediately contacted police, and the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office investigated. They found it was not credible.
