Ballston Spa Fire Dept. helps family in time for Christmas

The men and women of the Ballston Spa Fire Department traded in their turnout gear and took on a different role Saturday.
They mounted their trucks to spread a little Christmas joy to a family on arrowhead road in Saratoga. The family was “adopted” by the department after a fire destroyed parts of their Ballston Spa home back on November 7th.
Though they lost a lot, but grandma, mom and the 2 teens, all made it out safely. The folks with Ballston Spa Fire Department say they are happy they could bring some joy back to the family this holiday season.
