Barn at Saratoga Race Course under quarantine

Following opening day, NYRA says barn 86 at Saratoga Race Course is under quarantine after a horse tested positive for equine herpesvirus-1.
The unnamed and unraced filly was sent to Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital on Sunday after developing a fever.
The positive EHV-1 test came back Thursday.
The 46 other horses stabled in barn 86 will be monitored daily and will not be able to race or train with the other horses for now.
