Bear spotted in Schenectady neighborhood

Schenectady police are warning residents about a bear sighting in the city’s Woodlawn neighborhood.
Police say they notified schools and people living in that neighborhood to be aware of the situation.
They called in the Department of Environmental Conservation. Officers tell us they are pushing the bear to the area of the Woodlawn Preserve.
