Bees arrive at Indian Ladder farms to help with pollination

ALTAMONT – The hives have arrived at Indian Ladder Farms and the pollination process is underway.
The farm is working with Rulison Honey Farm in Amsterdam to place bee hives at various locations within their apple orchard.
The annual arrival of the honey bees each spring during the bloom period helps pollinate the widest variety of apple trees and is the first step in the production of sweet and hard cider.
