STONINGTON, Conn. – A long-time custodian working for the West Vine Street School in Stonington, Connecticut was recently given a sweet send-off from 400 of his biggest fans, and it caught him completely off guard.

For 18 years, Angelo Guido has worked as a head custodian ensuring the safety of students and working to implement systems at the school.

The kids not only love him, they also love his distinct mustache.

May 31 marked his last day on the job before retirement. On that day while working outside, he was asked to come quickly inside.

Every student and staff member lined the hallways with a lot of love. More than 400 of them wore mustaches and waved Italian flags for a final farewell for their favorite man.
