Bennington art shop celebrates 50 years in business

BENNINGTON, Vt. – A Bennington art shop is marking its gold anniversary.
Jay’s Art Shop & Frame Gallery celebrated Friday with an honorary ribbon cutting.
Owners Jay and Joan Zwynenburg moved to Bennington from Pennsylvania in 1971, fell in love with the town, opened up a gift and framing shop in the middle of it all – and the rest is history.
They marked the occasion last Friday by treating customers to their annual mega-sale, marking everything in the store 50% off.
