A Bennington police dog helped to get $81,000 worth of fentanyl and crack cocaine off the streets.
According to the Bennington Banner, police got a call for three unwanted men in an apartment on South Street early Tuesday morning.
A 5-year-old German shepherd named Gracie was called to help track one suspect that ran, but the paper reports Gracie also pointed officers to a white pick-up parked outside the apartment. The drugs were in the truck.
