Bennington police seek driver in hit-and-run that injured elderly woman

Bennington police hope you can help them locate a hit and run driver.

They say Grant Bentley from Bennington was operating the white SUV that hit an elderly woman in the Walmart parking lot on January 10.

After checking on the woman, he drove off.

Police have a warrant for his arrest on charges of leaving the scene of a crash with serious injury and aggravated assault.

They say Bentley is also wanted by the Department of Corrections for a probation violation.
