Berkshire County town one step closer to cannabis greenhouse

BECKET, Mass. – A proposed large scale cannabis farm is one step closer to becoming reality in Berkshire County.
NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle report the proposal just won a special permit to create the farm in the town of Becket.
It was granted after hours of hearings.
The 31,000 square foot greenhouse would sit about a half mile off the Mass Turnpike.
The next step is approval from the Cannabis Control Commission.
