Bicyclist hospitalized after being hit by car in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY – A 66-year-old bicyclist was taken to the hospital in Schenectady, after he was hit by a car on Friday afternoon.
It happened around 1:30 near Albany Street and Hamilton Street.
The man was taken to Albany Med with a head injury. As of Friday evening, he was in critical condition.
The vehicle involved was found a short time later unoccupied on Georgetta Dix. The driver was located shortly after. There is no word yet on if she will face any charges.
