Bishop Scharfenberger heading to Rome this week

Bishop Edward Scharfenberger from the Albany Catholic Diocese is traveling to Rome this week.
On Friday, he will be at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City when Pope Francis consecrates Russia and Ukraine.
The pope will appeal to God to end the war in Ukraine.
The diocese is planning to celebrate the consecration during its noon mass on Friday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany.
