BLM leader from Saratoga Springs charged with attempted assault

A local Black Lives Matter leader is facing charges.
Lexis Figuereo of Saratoga Springs was charged with three counts of attempted assault, accused of throwing bottles at police on April 14 outside of Albany Police Department’s South Station.
He was arraigned Friday morning.
He claims he was part of a peaceful protest that met with police brutality.
