Boil water advisory for parts of Troy lifted

TROY – The Troy boil water advisory that’s been in place because of a broken water main on Monday has now been lifted.

The break happened Monday on Northern Drive in Troy.

Anyone who has discolored water should run their cold faucet for five to 10 minutes until the water runs clear.

These were the areas that were affected by a boil water advisory:

• 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Avenues
• M, N, O and R Streets
• Corliss Park Apartments (Troy Housing Authority)
