TROY – A very skilled group of teenagers is heading to the Junior Olympics in Lubbock, Texas next week for boxing. However, they need some help to get there.

They train at the Griswold Heights Community Center in Troy every day, two to three hours a day, seven days a week.

However, it costs about $3,000 per child to travel to the games next week. Right now, they’re looking for donations to get the strong and resilient teenagers there.

"These kids work so hard and then get to this point, and we have to do what we need to do to get them there. They will be there, they will get there," said their coach, Sam Bunch.

They all have their own story for how they got into boxing.

Meet the teens and hear their inspiring messages by watching the video of Subrina Dhammi’s story.
