Bus aide in Fort Plain accused of sexual contact with child under 11

A bus aide in the Fort Plain School District is accused of having sexual contact with a child under 11.
Police began investigating 68-year-old Thomas Yager back on May 21, around the same time the district placed him on administrative leave.
He was arrested Thursday, and arraigned on sex abuse charges.
Police say the abuse happened on a bus that transports students for out of district placement.
Yager pleaded not guilty. He was sent to jail in lieu of bail, and is due back in court on June 7.
