Capital Holiday Lights opening for final season in Washington Park
ALBANY – An annual holiday tradition is back in Albany’s Washington Park.
The Capital Holiday Lights in the Park was opening to the public Friday evening as a drive-thru event.

Admission is $25 per passenger vehicle up to nine people.
You need to buy your tickets ahead of time this year, and pick a time slot.
The lights in the park run until January 2.

This is the 25th year of the lights. It raises money for the Police Athletic League, which funds programs that keep kids off the street through after school programs and internships.
As of now, plans are this will be the holiday tradition’s final season in Washington Park. A new location has not yet been announced.
