Capital Region 7-day COVID positivity rate still highest in NY state

The Capital Region still has the highest seven-day average of positive COVID test results at 1.95%.
The Mohawk Valley is now at 1.05%.
When it comes to the COVID vaccine, 56% of eligible New Yorkers are now fully vaccinated.
In the Capital Region, that number is nearly 60%.
There are 483 people in the hospital statewide, a net increase of 21.
Sadly, another two people died.
