Think you’ve had problems finding what you need at the store? Capital Region Manufacturers are having an even harder time finding materials they need, so they’re looking to bring their supply chains closer to home.
A Center for Economic Growth survey of Capital Region manufacturers found 95% experienced supply chain disruptions.
One in three plan, or have already started, to reshore their supply chains or production operations, with some help from CEG grants, including Centrotherm Ecosystems in Albany, Free Form Fibers in Saratoga Springs, Unilux in Niskayuna, StemCultures in East Greenbush, and Next Advance in Troy.
