Capital Region’s 7-day COVID positivity rate is 8.17%

The Capital Region’s 7-day COVID positivity rate is 8.17%. That’s much higher than the state average, which is 4.85%.

In numbers released on Friday, Gov. Hochul says 11,242 people tested positive on Thursday.

There are 3,107 people hospitalized.

Sadly, another 49 people died.
