Car crashes into Schodack garage

There is no word from police yet on if they’re still searching for the driver who crashed a car into a garage at a home in Rensselaer County.

That crash caused a lot of damage to a home and garage in Schodack. The driver hit a fence and mailbox, and eventually crashed into the garage.

The couple who owns it tells NewsChannel 13 they used this garage to invite friends and family over to create art.

The owners were not home at the time of the crash.

The driver ran off on foot, dropping a cellphone and wallet.
