CDC: Flu vaccine not very effective this season

Experts say this year’s dominant strain tends to mutate faster than other variants.
Typically, flu vaccines are between 40% and 60% effective.
The CDC believes the omicron surge could be one reason flu cases were kept at bay, as people were wearing masks and social distancing.
