Choreographer helps make Rhode Island dancer’s dreams come true

WARWICK, R.I. – A Rhode Island dancer is living her dream of one-on-one training with a well-known choreographer.

Gev Manoukian has performed with Pink, danced in "High School Musical 2," and was on the show "So You Think You Can Dance"

Despite the fact that he could be anywhere in the world, Rhode Island seemed just right after meeting 15-year-old Francesca Beagan a few months back.

He was judging a dance competition, and said Francesca had so much joy and honesty in her smile that might not have always been there. He was right.

Francesca was diagnosed with a rare condition called diaphragmatic hernia and almost didn’t survive.

She only has one lung.

Manoukian decided to work one-on-one with Francesca on her own solo dance.
