Clifton Park working to bring in new high-speed internet option

People in Clifton Park may soon get a new option for high-speed internet.

Town Supervisor Phil Barrett says the town is working with Greenlight Networks to bring its fiber optic network.

Greenlight plans to start providing service in Clifton Park in the summer of 2022, and expects to reach 3,600 households in the town with its fiber optic internet service by the end of that year.

The company currently offers service in the Rochester, Buffalo and Binghamton regions.
