Tech Valley Shuttle is offering a free shuttle Sunday to Bedford Hills, the largest women’s prison in New York. The idea is that inmates are more likely to succeed with family support.

The largest part of their business is called Driven to Work, helping people get to their jobs, and removing the barrier of transportation, as people without cars often find it difficult and time-consuming to get where they need to be.

Company owner Trent Griffin-Braaf served time for a non-violent offense many years ago. Many of his employees are in the same position.

The company has been working with Cohoes Police on ways to help the community.

Tech Valley will be offering a free shuttle to prisons Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
