COHOES – A public hearing will be held in Cohoes Tuesday evening on the city’s budget proposal for 2022.
Mayor Bill Keeler released the proposal last month. It calls for spending almost $25 million, but does not raise property taxes and does not increase water and sewer rates.
Under the mayor’s proposed budget, the police department and fire department would expand.
The hearing gets underway at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Cohoes City Hall.
