Colonie accounting firm celebrates end of tax season with employee brewing contest

When tax season wrapped up recently, local tax professionals had reason to celebrate.

The accounting firm of Wojeski & Company in Colonie had a unique way to mark the occasion. It held its inaugural Homebrew Contest. The firm supplied beer brewing kits to employees who wanted to take part. Six did, and a tasting was held.

There were entries such as CPA — that’s Certified Perfect Amber.

The winner was Rosie’s Choice, a "hoppy" IPA brewed by Senior Staff Accountant Liam Rowland. It’s named after Liam’s bunny, Rosie.
