Colonie police warn of scam that uses their phone number

The Colonie Police Department is warning of a scam.
They say that scammers have been cloning their phone number and are telling callers that they have missed a court date and must answer a subpoena.
They are warning people to question the scammers if they happen to receive one of these calls.
They can then call Colonie PD at (518) 783-2744.
