Cornell’s reopens in Schenectady after prolonged closure

SCHENECTADY – Cornell’s in Little Italy celebrated its grand re-opening in Schenectady on Wednesday with a private gala.

New owner Maria Papa is now running the restaurant.

The 260 seat restaurant on North Jay Street was forced to close for 18 months during the pandemic.

Now the new ownership is re-hiring some of the staff laid off in March 2020.
