COVID positivity rate in Capital Region, Mohawk Valley sees small drop

The 7-day average COVID positivity rate in the Capital Region and Mohawk Valley has dropped a bit.

Gov. Cuomo’s office says the 7-day average in the Capital Region was 4.55% on Monday, down from 4.58% on Sunday.

The 7-day average in the Mohawk Valley was 3.67% on Monday, also down from 3.77% on Sunday.

However, there are another 91 people hospitalized with the virus statewide.

Sadly, another 18 people died.

The state’s overall daily positivity rate is 3.94%, with the 7-day average at 3.13%.
