Cuomo sues Sheriff Apple over sexual allegation complaint

The attorney for former Gov. Andrew Cuomo is demanding an investigation into Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple.
Attorney Rita Glavin says she has asked State Police and the Manhattan District Attorney to investigate what she calls an illegal and unprofessional leak of grand jury information.
Sheriff Apple’s office filed criminal charges against Cuomo, accusing him of groping one of his former aides. The charges were later dropped.
