United States Congressman Antonio Delgado will officially be sworn-in as New York state’s lieutenant governor on Wednesday.
Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office made the announcement on Monday.

Delgado grew up in Schenectady. He was a basketball star at Bishop Gibbons High School in Schenectady. He was a standout player at Colgate University. He was a Rhodes Scholar who studied at Queens College in Oxford, and he’s a Harvard Law School graduate.
