When Breathe Massage Therapy on Hudson Avenue in Delmar paused services during COVID, it got a makeover of its own.

The spa recently celebrated big new changes, including new furniture, new floors, a new therapy room and even a new co-owner in Michelle Sanders. They showed it all off at a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Sanders has worked at Breathe Massage since she finished her degree at massage-therapy school in 2011.

Now Sanders runs the business with April Ashbee and a team of eight therapists. Though the former co-owner no longer runs the business, she still works with the company as an independent contractor.

Breathe Massage Therapy offers a range of services from massages, to skincare treatments.
