Departing RPI President Jackson honored with week of tributes

This is Shirley Ann Jackson’s final year at RPI and the school is honoring her with a week of tributes.
Jackson has been the school’s leader for the last 23 years. She’s helped transform RPI into a world-class tech research university and increased its presence in the fields of bio-tech and life sciences.
A portrait of Jackson was unveiled Wednesday at Russell Sage Banquet Hall, and on Thursday, the school’s bio-tech building will be named in her honor.
