Driver shortage forces Ballston Spa to cancel some bus routes Monday

Some students in Ballston Spa weren’t able to take the bus on the first day back to school after the holiday break. Some bus routes couldn’t be covered due to an ongoing bus driver shortage and the impacts of COVID-19, the school district said.

The district notified parents Monday morning about what routes were affected. They said they’d make arrangements for anyone who could not transport their child.

The district also says they will notify parents as soon as possible about arrangements for the afternoon bus routes.
