Drug Arrest in City of Amsterdam

Police recovered a lot drugs in an arrest Tuesday.

Amsterdam Police made an arrest in connection to the sale of narcotics in the City if Amsterdam.

Police arrested Esmeralda Torres Tuesday morning. They say 51-year-old Torres was targeted in an open drug investigation. Police received a warrant to search her car where they found large amounts of cocaine, heroin, and opioids packaged for sale and over $10,000.

Police are charging Torres with multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
