Ellis Medicine officially opens new oncology center

SCHENECTADY – Ellis Hospital’s new oncology center is officially open for treatment. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Tuesday morning to mark the occasion.
The new oncology center is a joint effort between Ellis and the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo.
The oncology center is located on the sixth floor of the hospital.
Ellis says the center will give patients access to cutting edge treatments they wouldn’t have been able to get in the Capital Region before.
