Emergency crews in Greene County use new tool to rescue hiker

DEC rangers and EMS rescued an injured hiker in Kaaterskill Falls in Greene County this week.

The hiker was suffering from symptoms of a heart attack.

The rangers were able to use a wheeled litter to get the injured hiker quickly back to the trailhead.
