LOUDONVILLE – Hundreds of students participated in Career Jam at Siena College on Thursday.

Career Jam is geared towards 8th and 9th graders, and it shows students from all different backgrounds and abilities career opportunities here in the Capital Region.

They get hands-on experience from local employers to help them find the future career path that might interest them.

It’s also an opportunity for local companies to showcase the skills they need, as they look to hire these young people after high school or college graduation.

Around 1,800 students from over 20 Capital Region school districts attended the event.

There will be another Career Jam in the fall at Hudson Valley Community College.
