SHARON SPRINGS – A famous couple in the Capital Region is getting ready to host a day of marathon weddings, 100 weddings, in 24 hours.

The couple from the show "The Fabulous Beekman Boys" is organizing this.

So far, 30 couples have signed up from all over the country from places including Texas, Florida and Pennsylvania, looking to get married in a colorful glass house with an amazing view. That means they have room for 70 more couples!

Josh Purcell and Brent Ridge, known for their reality show and their boutique shops, came up with this idea after getting a glass sculpture last month.

Starting 8 a.m. Saturday, they’ll hold 15-minute ceremonies non-stop until 8 a.m. Sunday.

So far, they don’t have any overnight time slots booked, but if they do get them, they’ll do them.

They’ll also do vow renewal ceremonies.

They’ll have officiants on hand to perform the ceremony, and also a photographer.

The cost is $100, and a portion of that goes to the Ali Forney Center to support homeless LGBTQ young people.

They’re doing this Saturday to mark the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage, but also for another very special reason.
