Family: Elderly mom nearly lost heat due to late propane delivery

BALLSTON SPA – Many people have contacted 13 Investigates over issues with propane being delivered much later than expected by Ferrellgas.

That includes a family whose elderly mom could not get a propane truck to show up for days.

Catherine, 92, lives alone in a mobile home in Ballston Spa.

Catherine’s son, Paul says his mom is a customer with Ferrellgas, and was supposed to get propane delivered late last week.

Paul says they were told a truck would come over the weekend.

Then Ferrellgas was supposed to come on Monday. That also didn’t happen.

Not knowing where else to turn, Paul and his family contacted 13 Investigates for help.

NewsChannel 13 emailed Ferrellgas, explaining their situation. Just minutes after our interview, a propane truck was in front of the home.

NewsChannel 13 asked Ferrellgas why this is happening in the dead of winter.
