FASNY breaks ground on $2 million renovation

ALBANY – A $2 million renovation is underway at the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York – or FASNY headquarters.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday morning at its location on Washington Avenue in Albany.

The project will address a number of infrastructure and energy efficiency issues in the building.

The renovation project is part of preparations for a yearlong celebration of FASNY’s 150th anniversary.
