Fire at dual apartment home in Albany under investigation

ALBANY – A fire in Albany is under investigation.
The fire broke out at 482 West Street, near Allen Street around 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
The building has two apartments. However, only the second floor one is occupied.
The fire chief says fire in the cock loft forced them to open the roof, and that there is significant damage to the second floor.
Luckily, no one was hurt.

The cause remains under investigation.
Roads in the area were closed for a time, but have since reopened.
