Fire investigators looking into cause of Schenectady house fire

Fire investigators in Schenectady are looking into what caused a house fire on Lexington Avenue Sunday.

Firefighters and police officers responded to the home at 1465 Lexington Avenue just after 8 a.m.

Schenectady police say it appears the fire started on the front porch. They say there were five people and some animals inside. Everyone made it out safely.

The Red Cross also responded to the scene.
