Fire quickly extinguished at Schenectady home

SCHENECTADY – The cause of a fire in Schenectady is under investigation.

The Schenectady Fire Chief said they got a call for the fire at a home on Chrisler Avenue around 9 a.m. Tuesday. Firefighters arrived to a heavy fire in the attic.

The chief said firefighters did a nice job of putting out this fire quickly.

No one was injured.

The chief said no one was home at the time of the fire, and they’re working to figure out if anyone actually lives at the home.
